Telegram has received new features to speed up the search for media in conversations. Starting this Wednesday (3), users of the messenger can search for photos and videos sent in an individual or group chat in a calendar view. The update with the new features is now available for Android and iOS (iPhone and iPad).

The new version of the messenger brings some new features for browsing the media exchanged in a conversation. Among them is the calendar view, telegram blast where the user can directly access the files of a specific day with a single tap. It is also possible to filter the navigation to show only photos, videos or both.
The calendar is accessed through the Telegram chat media view. When you open it, the messenger will display a menu with three dots in the upper right corner, connecting marketing to business where there will be the option “Show calendar”. There are also buttons to increase or decrease the zoom of the thumbnails of the photos and videos displayed on the screen.
The hyper-speed scrolling option is another way to speed up file searches. When you start scrolling through media, the app will show a bar with the date of the files displayed in the right corner of the screen. By dragging it up or down, users can navigate between photos and videos in less time.
Telegram receives requests to join groups and channels
Telegram also introduced other new features that go beyond viewing media.
